We harness the skills and abilities of different medical professionals eager to contribute their time for a short-term mission trips to remote villages of West Africa to provide the life saving critical medical care.
If you were to visit one of our medical mission sites, you would see a small girl, suffering from malnutrition, or a sick boy with malaria, caused by a parasitic infection, or a man who is partially blind because their eyes are covered with cataracts. In these cases and many others like these, getting basic treatment is considered a luxury, or a medical facility is not within reach because the nearest facility is sometimes 100 - 200 miles away. Unfortunately, these cases are far too common, and there is not nearly enough help right now. The reality is grim for this little girl, the boy or the man, as they feel lost in a crowd of need. Will help arrive for them in time?
Ibom Global healthcare Initiatives partners is changing that reality for each identified community within our target mission regions. Every year, we donate our time, our medical skills, and talent to embark on a Medical Mission to one target community to provide free health evaluation, life saving surgeries, health education, and to establish healthcare initiatives for the community. We are helping everyone we can, adults and children, solving medical issues of every kind, from dental problems, to hernias, to cataracts.
